Surf View Villas

Surf View villas are all at the front, sitting 50 m above sea level, which makes the views amazing. All of them have a terrace, lie-down deck chairs and a full glass and timber front so you can wake up to the view or watch the lights of Ekas Bay from your bed.

While Surf View villas are smaller than our Supreme and Big Villas, all Planet rooms are big, with plenty of space for 1-4 people.

Imba is the largest, then Coral and Ocean Heaven 1 & 2. Srikaya is ideal for a single or couple. Turtle and Gecko are identical with an adjoining terrace and door, and so they are great for friends, families or colleagues. The Treetop 1&2 rooms overlook the plantation forest to the ocean. They are still easily large enough for a couple and very near the restaurant.

Remember that Moira (moirahealey@y7mail.com) will help with advice about bookings and that Heaven on the Planet offers the “best” rooms to the first people who secure the booking. It’s good to book early.

Aqua

Villa Aqua is exceptional. Glass-fronting onto sea and forest aspects gives you amazing views of the world-class surf break. Awaken to a close encounter with the majestic aquamarine ocean.

• Queen bedroom with living room and separate small bedroom
• The bathroom is finished to a high standard, designed for refreshing airflow
• To offer more flexibility, we can transform the queen bed in the master bedroom to two singles. With the single bed in the separate room, Aqua is suitable for three separate friends who want to be together
• Close to our pools and restaurant whilst still retaining privacy, Villa Aqua is set apart from other villas and chalets.

Ocean Heaven

Ocean Heaven rooms are a stunning example of authentic Lombok architecture with their calming mix of woven alang alang (grass) roof and teak walls. Wake up to panoramic views of Ekas Bay., there’s a wonderful view of the ocean and the long white sandy beach below. Across the Bay enjoy Mt Rinjani, the volcanic Mother of Lombok.

• Queen bed can be changed to 2 large singles as required
• Shower under the open roof of the huge ensuite bathroom (completely private, of course) as the Birds tweet their first songs of the day.

Vista

Villas Vista (our latest and popular 5-star rooms) has four Villas, with two on the top floor and two below. Both levels have magnificent views. Architecture is modern minimalist with an insatiable flavour of Lombok using hardwood and glass. Comments include “best in Lombok”, “insanely beautiful”, “views are to die for”. The architect said, “This is my most pleasing venture”.

Srikaya

Srikaya is a beautiful combination of red quartz stone (Batu Bintang) and timber, topped off with an Alang Alang (grass) roof. Cliff top Srikaya is one of the most requested villas we have. It has awesome views of the Inside Ekas surf break as well as panoramic views of Ekas Bay and Mt Rinjani, the volcanic Mother of Lombok.

• Perfect for a couple.
• Close to our restaurant and pool area, but not intruding on your privacy.

Coral

Coral is one of the popular cliff top villas with enormous ocean views and a view of the long white sandy beach as you look up Ekas Bay to the north. Across the Bay the volcano Mt Rinjani reveals herself too. It goes without saying the views are out of this world. The terrace has its own sun loungers and small table and chairs for you to make the most of these views.

Coral is a beautiful combination of red quartz stone (Batu Bintang) and timber, topped off with an Alang Alang (grass) roof. It is now air conditioned by popular request. The villa comes with its own en suite private bathroom, storage room and queen bed so is perfect for a couple. There is a sofa in the room as well. Sometimes, to cater for two singles the sofa is exchanged for a single bed.

Imba

Another front row classic, with the amazing views of Ekas Bay, whether from the terrace of the villa or its living room. The living room has double height vaulted ceilings up to the alang alang (grass) roof, giving it a great sense of space. With the French doors open and the huge windows, this is a great space to hang out and just kick back. The living room can also be used as an additional bedroom if required.

It has to be said the villa really has it all, the double bedroom, living room leading on to the terrace, and bathroom with walk in shower with the breeze blowing in through the wooden slats. You can sit in the seclusion Imba provides and think that right here, right now, you’re the only person in the world looking out at the expanse of the clear blue ocean and the golden sands.

Turtle &  Gecko

This villa has everything you would want to immerse yourself in the perfect Lombok experience that Heaven on the Planet affords. It has amazing views of Ekas Bay, with the clear turquoise waters directly under your front porch, so much so that you can almost imagine your toes dipping into the Ocean. The private bathroom captures the all day sun.

Like most of our Villas, it has the authentic grass (alang alang roof), red quartz stone and plenty of wood. Turtle and the adjoining villa Gecko have an internal door that can connect the two villas. Both villas can be booked separately but we find they are very popular with families or a group of 4 friends.
