Garden Villas

Garden Villas are amazingly cost-effective. Remember, while the room is a bit less fancy and a bit back from the beach views, all of the Platinum Package entitlements are still part of your booking. We have compared our prices with another nearby small resort and found that if you want to eat, get transport from the airport and use a few facilities, with a massage, then our Garden rooms are much more affordable when all is converted to Australian dollars. And you’re not in the long grass 3 km from the beach.

It’s only a 10-20 m walk to the views and all the rooms have some sea view through our beautiful trees. You have full package rights, including all the equipment, surf boat, massages and the stunning restaurant with all meals included and infinity pool.

Mahogany 1&2 are adjoining with the bathroom in between, accessed along the front terrace. They have a great relaxation area under the giant Bantan trees with your own table and chairs. Grasshopper is double storey with the bedroom and terrace upstairs and the bathroom down a private staircase below. Grasshopper has sea views. Bantan is less creative architecture, but it can sleep up to 8 people at a squeeze. Grouper is a more simple room further back. All have their own ensuite bathrooms.

If we were to rank them, we’d say Mahogany is best for families and friends, while Grasshopper is great for a couple or single.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a large, modern villa with traditional Lombok elements. The crisp, spacious design and glass front with black-out curtains gives you the option of open or private. You have the big ocean views. Jasmine is set back by 20 m from the front in our natural gardens.

Jasmine is fully self-contained with its own ensuite bathroom and a modern kitchen, with its own dining setting. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are all spacious. It even has a washing machine, but you can still use the free laundry service of the resort!

The villa has plenty of natural light, breezes and great views from the villa and terrace.

Proximity to our restaurant and pool area is close but not so close as to intrude on your privacy.

GRASSHOPPER

This is a two storey room in traditional Lombok style, with alang alang (grass) roof and bamboo walls. The bedroom and deck are on the upper level giving the villa plenty of natural light and breezes. You have ocean views from the deck, which has its own table and chairs.

The lower level has a huge entrance area which is ideal for storage. There really is no need to see those suitcases or backpacks again until it’s time for you to go home.

The bathroom is located towards the rear of the lower level and is spacious. The partially open roof – completely private, of course – lets in plenty of light and air.

Proximity to our restaurant and pool area is close but not so close as to intrude on your privacy.

Mahogany

Mahogany 1 and 2 are two individual rooms that are separated through the middle by a bathroom. They are very popular with families and groups of friends who like the idea of being close to each other, yet still allowing plenty of privacy.

The rooms have all the design features of authentic Lombok living – alang alang (grass) roof, internal bamboo walls and plenty of timber on the outside. There is also a shared outdoor area that runs the length of the villas.

Mahogany 1 and 2 are located close to our main restaurant and swimming pools, which is great for those on the move all day between base and all our amenities. The rooms and deck are shaded by one of our beautiful large Bantan trees, along with Bougainvillea, so you’ll enjoy plenty of privacy.

The shared bathroom (accessed along your front terrace) has a partially open roof, and the pitch of the alangalang roof means it’s completely private, only letting in the natural light of the sun and nice breezes

Bantan

We built Bantan to accommodate larger groups who want to be in the same place. It has three separate bedrooms, and can easily sleep up to 8 adults. One bedroom has a single bed, the other bedroom has 4 singles and a further bedroom can be arranged with either 1 or 2 double beds. Bantan has its own bathroom which has wooden slatted windows to make it light and breezy.

It’s set back from the front row villas that line up along our clifftop, and gives close access to the main restaurant area.

Bantan has a small deck at the front and is surrounded by trees we have planted, giving ample shade.

Grouper

This is simple Lombok style accommodation, popular with those who like things to be pretty basic when they are on holiday, yet still very comfortable and homey.

It has an alang alang (grass roof), plenty of timber on the outside and bamboo walls in the bedroom which has two double beds. Grouper has its own en-suite bathroom. It also has a nice deck at the front, which gets plenty of shade.

It is conveniently located close to our restaurant and pools.
